Landhotel Voshövel has 20 bicycles and 4 e-bikes available for rent, as well as facilities for storing your own bikes. An extensive network of cycling routes covering a range of themes starts directly from the hotel. You will find a number of examples on the website of Outdooractive.

Hiking and jogging routes

Landhotel Voshövel provides you with its own 7 clearly marked hiking and jogging routes starting directly at the hotel.

Near the hotel you will also find the Dämmerwald state forest in the western section of the Hohe Mark Nature Park. With its fascinating flora and fauna the 1,500 ha state forest is a real attraction to cyclists and hikers, and is one of the most visited forest areas in the western Münsterland. The forest features an extensive network of hiking trails, a half-marathon course and the "Jacobsbrunnen" spring where trails meet.

The Loosenberge Nature Reserve is also well worth a visit. It covers 13 ha and is part of a 5 km stretch of dunes, the Drevenacker Dünen, which lies between Wesel-Obrighoven and Schermbeck-Damm on the northern edge of the Lippe Valley. The juniper bushes in the Loosenberge reserve are among the last on the Lower Rhine.

• Otto Pankok Museum // Hünxe
Painter and sculptor, died in 1966. Together with Nolte and Barlach, he made a major contribution to the painting of the first half of the 20th century. Here you can experience fascinating art in all its variety.

Almost 350 years of shared history combine Westphalia and the Rhineland with Brandenburg Preußen (Prussia). Discover the diversity of Westphalian-Prussian history.

• Historical Place Humberghaus // Dingden
The history of a Jewish family up to 1941. Open on Sundays from 14:00 – 18:00, or by appointment.

• Heimatmuseum // Schermbeck
This museum of local history has a permanent exhibition of local history and culture, also covering agricultural and domestic exhibits. Changing special exhibitions focus mainly on aspects of local history .

• Xanten Cathedral // Xanten
St. Viktor Cathedral is regarded as the biggest between Cologne and the sea. A visit to its historic walls is highly recommended.

• Museum Schloss Oberhausen // Oberhausen
In an ambitious, regularly changing programme of exhibitions on three different themes the LUDWIGGALERIE in the spacious rooms of the classicist castle complex presents works of art loaned from every part of the world.

• Lehmbruck Museum // Duisburg
This museum presents a unique collection of international modern sculpture, combined with outstanding museum architecture, a sculpture park and sculpture integrated within the city landscape.

• Landschaftspark Nord // Duisburg
This former foundry, whose modern halls radiate charm, features stages for theatre, concerts, readings and film shows.

• Kröller-Müller Museum // Arnheim
The Kröller-Müller Museum is in the Hoge Veluwe National Park and represents a second home for the works of Vincent van Gogh. With almost 90 paintings and more than 180 drawings, the museum has the world's second-largest van Gogh collection.
